Breaking Beer News
Jan 5, 09:41 AM by Robert Ashburn

Update
We have a response from Busch stating the Busch Gardens and SeaWorld Hospitality Houses, including the Brewmaster’s Club, will indeed close by February 1st. BGT’s will feature a cafe style menu while SWO’s was just stated to become a restaurant. There will also not be anymore free beer sampling, but beer will be sold, as is common around the park. All Team Members will be given jobs elsewhere within the parks.

At the team member meeting today, it was announced that the Hospitality House will be closing on Sunday, January 25th. We have asked Busch to clarify on the exact closing date and are awaiting their response.

The Hospitality House will be completely closed and be replaced with a sports pub concept that will open in time for the Superbowl.

News, Rumors, and Other Tibits
Jan 5, 12:17 AM by Robert Ashburn

For the news
A team member meeting will be taking place tomorrow morning. While these are usually nothing important from the guest perspective, there have been a lot of talks about no more free beer and closing the Hospitality House. So we are waiting to see what was discussed and will bring you the information that may affect the guests of the park.

Rumors

A member of the FTN forums has posted a bunch of rumors relating to BGT

Other Tibits

I had an opportunity to interview Kevin Johnson, Ventriloquist, before the new year and will be playing that interview as part of the First FloridaThrill-Cast, our attempt at a monthly podcast / radio show. So be patient.
If the show does not happen, I will edit it down for everyone to hear anyway. If you did not get a chance to see him perform over new years, we will be posting short snippets from his act. We hope Busch will be able to bring him back for part of summer nights this year.

Trams all the way....
Jan 4, 04:51 PM by Robert Ashburn

On New Years Eve I saw an older tram shuttling guests to the parking lots and strangely no buses, it seems Busch may be trying to eliminate the need of buses for the overflow lots, this would actually save them money and be a little greener. It seems BGW shipped a few of their older trams to Tampa to help.

We have a photo of one tram in the Discussion Thread.
